📚 Book lovers and bargain hunters have something special to look forward to! Big Bad Wolf Books is opening the doors of its Wolf Den to the public for the first time, with books advertised at just RM1, RM5 and RM8.
Happening from 7 to 9 November 2026 at Wolf House in Shah Alam, the three-day Big Bad Wolf Books Wolf Den Sale offers free walk-in entry, an opportunity to explore an impressive book warehouse, and a lively atmosphere with music and drinks. Here’s what to expect and the essential details for planning a visit.
💰 Book Bargains at RM1, RM5 and RM8
The main attraction is the chance to discover affordable reads at three advertised price points: RM1, RM5 and RM8. Whether searching for something new to read, expanding a home library or picking up books as gifts, these prices make it an appealing stop for readers on a budget.
The announcement does not provide a title-by-title breakdown of the three price tiers, so the availability of particular books cannot be guaranteed. Importantly, admission is free, with no entry ticket required – simply walk in during the advertised opening hours.
📚 Explore the Home of Over 10 Million Books
What makes this event different from a typical Big Bad Wolf Books sale is the venue itself. Instead of a conventional exhibition hall or shopping venue, the Wolf Den Sale takes place at Wolf House, Big Bad Wolf Books’ headquarters and fulfilment centre in Shah Alam.
The facility houses over 10 million books under one roof, offering a rare glimpse into the enormous operation behind the popular book sales. Normally closed to the shopping public, Wolf House is opening for this special three-day event.
The 10-million-book figure refers to the collection housed at the facility, rather than a confirmed number of different titles available for purchase. Nevertheless, the warehouse setting and its extensive book storage areas make this a particularly interesting opportunity for book enthusiasts.
🎶 More Than Just a Book Sale
Beyond bargain hunting, visitors can look forward to music, drinks and a lively atmosphere, making the Wolf Den Sale a casual outing for friends, families and fellow readers.
Big Bad Wolf Books is promoting this as a first-of-its-kind opening and has suggested that the same experience might not be repeated. For those curious about what happens behind the scenes at Wolf House, this is a rare opportunity to visit the venue while browsing for affordable books.

🪔 Visiting During the Deepavali Weekend
The sale coincides with Deepavali on Sunday, 8 November 2026, followed by the replacement public holiday in Selangor on Monday, 9 November. This means the entire three-day event falls over a festive weekend and public holiday period.
Visitors travelling to Shah Alam may wish to allow additional time for traffic and parking, particularly during the holidays. Setting aside sufficient browsing time and bringing a reusable shopping bag could also make the warehouse shopping experience more convenient. 🛍️
🐺 Another Big Bad Wolf Books Event Coming in December
Unable to attend during Deepavali? Big Bad Wolf Books has acknowledged concerns about the event’s timing and teased another, bigger event coming in December 2026.
However, the organiser has not yet confirmed the December event’s dates, venue or promotional offers. The RM1, RM5 and RM8 book deals advertised for the November Wolf Den Sale should not be assumed to apply to that upcoming event.
📖 A Rare Chance to Visit the Wolf Den
With book bargains starting from RM1, free admission and an unusual warehouse setting, the Wolf Den Sale is worth considering for anyone who enjoys discovering affordable reads. The first-time opening also makes it an opportunity to experience a different side of Big Bad Wolf Books.
