🍗 Calling all fried chicken lovers!

McDonald’s Malaysia is bringing back its popular Ayam Goreng Mekdi promotion with a one-day-only deal on Sunday, 18 October 2026. Enjoy 5 pieces of Ayam Goreng McD™ for just RM20 with the purchase of any Set Nilai Hebat (McValue Meal).

🍗 This is another round of McDonald’s popular RM20 chicken deal following its 16 September 2026 Malaysia Day promotion. While the earlier offer required a Medium or Large McValue Meal, the 18 October deal also accepts Small McValue Meals. Both Original (Biasa) and Spicy (Pedas) Ayam Goreng McD are featured, although the exact flavour combination has not been specified.

⚠️ Important promotion conditions: Purchase any Set Nilai Hebat (McValue Meal) in Small (S), Medium (M) or Large (L) to enjoy the RM20 offer. Each McValue Meal purchase allows up to two 5-piece Ayam Goreng McD Share Boxes at the promotional price. The offer is available at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide except airport, Genting and Labuan outlets. Promotional meals, à la carte purchases, Party Packages, Happy Meals and McSavers Pilih & Padan do not qualify. Advertised prices include 6% service tax.

🍗 What’s included in the RM20 Ayam Goreng Mekdi deal?

💰 The 5-piece Ayam Goreng McD Share Box costs RM20 instead of the advertised RM32.70 reference price, a difference of RM12.70 (approximately 39%). A McValue Meal must also be purchased. McDonald’s advertises McValue Meals from RM8.95. If an RM8.95 meal is available and qualifies, the food total would be RM28.95 with one Share Box or RM48.95 with two Share Boxes, before any delivery charges. Actual totals depend on the qualifying meal, restaurant and ordering channel. The advertised saving applies to the chicken add-on, not the full order.

📱 Ways to order

McDonald’s Malaysia has highlighted several convenient ordering channels for this promotion, making it possible to enjoy the deal at the restaurant or from home.

• 🍽️ Dine-In: Enjoy the meal at a McDonald’s restaurant.
• 🥡 Takeaway: Collect the order to enjoy elsewhere.

GrabFood, foodpanda and ShopeeFood may apply different menu prices, delivery fees or processing charges. Check the total before payment and refer to the official McDelivery ordering policy for applicable charges.

📍 Before making the trip, check the McDonald’s Malaysia Store Locator to find a convenient restaurant. Promotional availability may depend on restaurant operating hours and the ordering channel.

As this is a limited one-day offer, it is worth checking the selected restaurant or delivery platform for availability before placing an order. The promotion is subject to the applicable McDonald’s terms and conditions.
