Merdeka Deal: KFC Malaysia’s Special 9-Piece Chicken Offer
KFC Malaysia is rolling out a delicious deal in celebration of Merdeka Day. From 30th to 31st August 2024, customers can enjoy a generous 31% discount on a 9-piece chicken set.
This offer is valid on both Original and Hot & Spicy flavours, providing a perfect opportunity for fans to savour KFC’s iconic fried chicken at a significantly reduced price.

Offer Details and Availability
The exclusive Merdeka promotion will be available between 10 am and 10 pm over the two-day period. Customers can take advantage of this deal for Takeaway, Self Collect, Drive-Thru, and Dine-In services at any KFC outlet across Malaysia.
For a faster and more convenient experience, customers can also skip the queue by ordering ahead online through the KFC App or kfc.com.my using the Self Collect option.
Exclusions and Limitations
It’s important to note that this promotion is not available for KFC Delivery or through food delivery platforms such as GrabFood, FoodPanda, and ShopeeFood. Additionally, the offer is not valid at certain locations, including Genting, Mall of Medini, and airport stores.
Customers are limited to purchasing a maximum of two (2) sets of the 9-piece chicken per transaction at the promotional price. However, there is no limit on the number of Add-On Sides that can be ordered alongside the promotion.
How to Order for Self Collect
To enjoy the 31% discount via Self Collect, customers must place their order and make payment online. Here’s a quick guide on how to secure your 9-piece chicken set:
- Log in or register on the KFC App or KFC website (promo is applicable for logged-in users only).
- Select the Self Collect option and choose your preferred KFC store for collection, along with the date and time.
- Under the Self Collect ‘Promotions’ section, find the 9-piece chicken offer at 31% off and add up to two sets to your cart.
- Complete the transaction with cashless payment.
- Pick up your order from the selected store at the designated date and time.
Double Rewards Points
As an added bonus, customers who purchase the 9-piece chicken at the discounted price through the KFC App via Self Collect will receive Double Rewards Points. Note that these points are only applicable for the “9-pc Chicken at 31% off” items.
Terms and Conditions
This special Merdeka promotion cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers, offers, or discounts. For those placing advance orders online for Self Collect, please note that the promotion is only applicable if the order is placed on the morning of 30th August 2024, for collection between 30th and 31st August 2024.
