Samsung Malaysia Electronics has announced the arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy Mega 2.

Designed to deliver an ultimate entertainment experience, the Galaxy Mega 2 features the latest Android OS platform with a powerful Quad Core processor, wider screen and longer battery life.

“Samsung continuously endeavours to create products that go beyond hardware and functionality. It is important to equip our products with features that will enhance and complement consumers’ lifestyle. Through the Galaxy Mega 2, we hope to take on-the-go entertainment experience to a whole new level,” said Lee Dong Yong, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Inside Galaxy Mega 2 is the powerful Quad Core A9 processor running at 1.5GHz, which delivers an uninterrupted experience in any media consumption, be it gaming or watching videos. The Galaxy Mega 2 also comes with LTE Category 4 connectivity provides consumers with blazing fast downloads of movies and games on-the-go.

Video playback, gaming and web browsing on the Galaxy Mega 2 are remarkably brilliant and vivid from wide viewing angles thanks to its 6.0-inch HD TFT display. The big-screen entertainment device also enhances multitasking capabilities allowing consumers to fully utilise the larger screen through Multi Window. Consumers can open more than one application on the screen and easily share content between applications.

The innovation continues, as the Galaxy Mega 2 changes the way people use their phone battery. The Galaxy Mega 2 features the Ultra Power Saving Mode, which is one of the smart features from Samsung’s flagship smartphones, making battery last even longer. The Ultra Power Saving Mode shuts down all unnecessary features so the phone stay operational even at minimal battery levels during emergencies.

The Galaxy Mega 2 is now available at all Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung authorised dealers, at a recommended retail price of RM1,299.
