Panasonic is pleased to introduce new Smart VIERA 2013 line-up at the Panasonic VIERA Launch 2013, unveiled the expanded range of its Smart VIERA LED and Plasma for 2013.
The new LED models ranging from 24 to 55 inches, with nine series comprise of WT60, DT60, ET60, E, EV, EM, XV, XM, B. Whilst the 4 new series for Plasma TVs include VT60,ST60,S60,and X60 with sizes ranging from 50 to 65 inches.
For 2013, the Smart VIERA concept is further promoted based on five pillars of evolution, such as easy operation, networking, picture quality, eco and design. The key concept for this new line-up is called “Smart VIERA Made Easy” which emphasize on smart technology is made easy for consumers use. As smart technology is easy to operate, can be personalized to meet each individual needs and brings satisfying TV experiences.
The new VIERA brings smart operation to its versatile smart TV functions. “My Home Screen” provides instant access to your favorite content on a personalized TV screen. “Voice Interaction” lets you intuitively control the TV. And “Swipe & Share 2.0” makes it easy to link the TV with a smartphone or tablet and share photos, videos, and web pages with family and friends. VIERA’s new viewing and operating styles make your TV entertainment even more comfortable, and lots more fun.
My Home Screen
The portal screen menu leads you to a wide variety of content in addition to TV, including internet videos and photos. You have complete access to it all as soon as you turn on the TV.
Voice Interaction
By simply saying a key word into the Touch Pad Controller or smartphone, the search result is displayed on-screen and verbally read out. It’s like operating the TV by talking to it. Its Voice Guidance function is also at your service. *”VIERA remote 2″ must be installed for smartphone use.
Swipe & Share 2.0
By linking a smartphone or tablet device to the TV, you can freely share content and achieve easy operation.
“Panasonic recently participated and exhibited our latest Viera TV in 2013 International CES, Las Vegas Convention Center in January 2013 before introduce in Malaysia market. We believe this new range of VIERA TV that equipped with newly enhance features and technologies able the gain market confident in both local and Asian Pacific region,” said Jeff Lee, Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia.
“These new models again demonstrate the company’s commitment to provide consumers with entertainment options of the highest quality, with respect to LED and Plasma TVs. It also combines eco sensibility with superior product performance and enhanced networking functionality in a slim profile with state-of-the-art design featuring slim design with super slim bezel.”
“Our aim is to be in the value added zone’s sales in the mid to high end series, and to further promote our Smart VIERA TVs. We hope to achieve a sales growth of 3% in smart TV category from this launch,” added Jeff Lee.
The Smart VIERA 2013 models will be available nationwide at authorized dealers shops, starting on April 18, 2013 onwards.
